Truthfully this story for me was really hard to undeerstand. The story had details, but the details were about smething else that had nothing to with it. So it confusd me on what the main point was. From my understanding the writers wife used to work with a blind man. After the readers wife stopped working for the blind man another woman began working for him. They later fell in love and got married. She later died of cancer. through out the years that the writers wife did not work for the blind man they kept in contact. When the blind mans wife died he was in conneticut visting the in laws and family. The blind man contacted the writers wife to catch up. She picked him up from the train station. And the husband is kind of jealous and rude to the guy... The most confusing part of tthe story: no names. THen he throws in characters that did not matter. so confusing

allagory of the cave

In allogory the cave, Plato discusses how prisioners are stuck in a cave that is holding them back from seeing the real world. The cave I believe symbolizes anyobstical you have in life. It may be work, school, or even personal problems. Because you are stuck trying to solve the problem you have, you do not realize there is so much more out there for you to learn. People choose not to because they are afraid, and do not know what to expect. Thoes who are afraid just remember the words of Plato in paragraph 21
" He will require to grow accustomed to the sight of the upper world.". Meaning it is going to take a while getting used to the hardships of life but eventually you will get used to it. For the real world is an obsticle you can ignore

Introducing myelf to the class
Hello my fellow classmates,
I wanted to take a brief moment to introduce myself. My name is Daisy Herdman, Last semester I realize what I wanted to major in. Surprisingly I am enthusiastic for majoring in accounting. In summer school I took an accounting class, had a lot of fun, and was actually good at it. Ever since then I knew what I wanted to major in and wish every one good luck in their major
