         In allogory the cave, Plato discusses how prisioners are stuck in a cave that is holding them back from seeing the real world. The cave I believe symbolizes anyobstical you have in life. It may be work, school, or even personal problems. Because you are stuck trying to solve the problem you have, you do not realize there is so much more out there for you to learn. People choose not to because they are afraid, and do not know what to expect. Thoes who are afraid just remember the words of Plato in paragraph 21
" He will require to grow accustomed to the sight of the upper world.". Meaning it is going to take a while getting used to the hardships of life but eventually you will get used to it. For the real world is an obsticle you can ignore

        I wanted to take a brief moment to introduce myself. My name is Daisy Herdman, Last semester I realize what I wanted to major in. Surprisingly I am enthusiastic for majoring in accounting.
